The Horsemen
Code of Conduct
1. NO Begging.
The guild will not accept members begging for: 1) money, 2) Escort, 3) items or enchants. Begging is repeatedly asking for a service or item from guild mates OR non-guild members. You may ask once, politely, and accept the responses given. "PLZ! PLZ! PLZ!" and repeated asking, will be considered begging. If you notice someone log on, you can ask for their help. But repeatedly asking the same individuals is not condoned. You will be warned ONCE if you are seen doing this; if you repeat this action, you will be considered by the Guild Officers for expulsion. Remember, we ARE here to help you, but there must be some control so that members are not abused or annoyed by others.
2. Need Before Greed
If you find anything you can not use please SHIFT + Left click the item into guild chat to see if others may need before you throw it in the AH. Concerning items, the guild will always award a dropped item to the player with the greatest need ( Outside of Raid Instances. )
3. The Alt Rule
The guild will never tell you what to do with your WoW account. As a result, it is up to the individual if they choose to make additional characters. However, please understand the following:
- If you are making a second character with the intent of joining the guild under that second character, PLEASE inform the Guild Officers.
- At any time you can choose to have your main character’s rank switched with your alternate characters rank.
4. Notify Your Leaders
If you witness anyone in repeated violation of these rules, if you are being harassed by a member, OR if you have a problem with another member or the guild in general, please notify/talk to your Guild Officers. We are here to help you.=) Problems and misunderstandings can be best avoided and resolved in this way.
5. Drama is not tolerated.
This rule will be strictly enforced! In order to ensure a comfortable environment for everyone in the guild "drama queens" will be kicked out with out warning! No one is here to hold your hand. If you have a problem with another guild mate act maturely and try to settle your issue with them. Do not involve the guild - And Do NOT take your arguement on the voice server. Keep the argument in whispers. If you absolutely can not be mature enough to solve your issues, feel free to bring the ire of your Officers. They will make a decision for you.
Guild Guidelines
1. Be Aware of Your Actions
To put it simply, please realize that as a member of a guild, your actions and behavior reflect YOU as a player, and ALSO your guild as a group. While you wear the guild tabard on your chest, you ARE the The Horsemen guild to people who don't know us. A guild's reputation is the ONLY THING a guild has when recruiting new members. If you are nice ONLY to your guild mates, and disrespectful to everyone else, our guild will not grow (or worse, it will grow with only bad members). Please be courteous and have gamer’s etiquette.
2. Politeness goes a long way
- Accidents happen. If you accidentally roll on a BoP item, please be kind and apologize.
- We don't care if you offend people - but make sure you're in the right. The Guild will back it's members so long as you are not intentionally making a fool of yourself.
3. Guild Chat
These are general rules for the guild chat; some are repeated from the rules above:
- No begging in guild chat.
- No harassing fellow guild members in guild chat. If you have a problem with a specific member of the guild, please bring up the issue with a Guild Leader / Officers in private messages.
- No spamming the guild-chat (scrolling tons of text to get attention)
- No sexism/sexist jokes. (please respect the women who choose to put up with you idiots in this video game.)
- When the Guild Master or Officers request that chat be quiet for announcements please respect the request.
